PRISON MINISTRY

This is an ecumenical Christian ministry designed for men and women’s correctional institutions. Our purpose is to establish a strong Christian Community among the residents. The primary goal is to teach those who attend, to become part of a share and prayer group. This allows them to share their lives on a deep spiritual level, and to pray for one-another. Becoming  Christ’s agents for change in their environment. You may also help with the Kairos weekends by baking cookies. Watch the bulletin for details.

A monthly visit and communion service at Leiber Correctional Institution are provided by our parish. There are  also regular visits to the Catholic men on death row who are housed at Lieber.  Anyone who would like to share their faith at the monthly visits is welcome.
